Our Why
Muscle x Longevity
Build muscle now — reap the rewards later.

Menopause
BONE DENSITY
VISCERAL FAT
Declining estrogen drives both changes at once — bone density falls as visceral fat rises. Resistance training is one of the few interventions shown to counter both.

Fracture & Fall Risk
FRACTURE RISK
FALL RISK
Post-menopausal women with reduced muscle mass face significantly higher odds of both a fall and a fracture than women with preserved muscle.

Brain Health
2×
Women 75+ with the weakest grip strength were more than twice as likely to have a late-life dementia event — independent of genetic risk. Resistance training during perimenopause has shown measurable gains in cognitive flexibility in trials.

All-Cause Mortality
+16%
Higher risk of death from any cause for every 5kg drop in grip strength — a stronger signal than blood pressure — tracked across 139,691 adults in 17 countries. This holds for both sexes.
Sources: "Prognostic Value of Grip Strength: Findings From the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology (PURE) Study" (The Lancet, 2015)
Andropause
TESTOSTERONE
MUSCLE POWER
Testosterone declines roughly 1–2% a year after 40 — and muscle power falls even faster, the real driver of lost mobility.

Long-Term Decline
MORTALITY RISK
MUSCLE REMAINING
Low testosterone (hypogonadism) is linked to a threefold rise in mortality risk — and resistance training is one of the few natural levers shown to help preserve it.

Brain Health
IGF-1 ↑
Resistance training raises IGF-1, a hormone tied to brain health, and higher muscle strength is consistently linked to better cognition in aging adults. In men on androgen-deprivation therapy specifically, adding resistance training has been shown to improve cognitive function.
